1. What development do you experience in Micro Teaching class?
The development I experienced in Micro Teaching class is being prepared, not really well-prepared, prepared is good enough for me. I’m famous with the ‘last minute person’ term. Almost all of my friends agreed that. I always do something, task, studying, and so on in the very last minute, and guess what I get as my result, an absolute A. I could say that most of my A marks are a lucky A mark. When people do their task one night before the D-day, I do it on the D-day, when people do the “Sistem Kebut Semalam” study methodology; I do it minutes before the test in any simple way. It comes also in my every presentation, when I am going to have a presentation at 11; I’m just doing it at 9 or even 10. That’s the lucky last minute me, and I don’t know why, I succeed on doing that way. Here, making a RPP, choosing materials, planning the lesson, even the simplest thing you do for your teaching tomorrow is called a preparation. Well firstly I felt strange about being full of these preparation things. But when I did it, a feeling like a certainty comes to my, crawl from my feet and makes me a prepared teacher (that time I was to teach the class). It felt good; I hope I can apply this “preparation” in the other subject.
Have you had the characteristics of a good teacher?
Well, how to say it…I think yes, I got some of them, but not all of them. Yah, I got them from the process in this class, I got so many models of teaching by my friends, and they really inspired me. When I check again to some characteristics of a good teacher given by the facilitator of the course long time ago I can say that I got some of them. Thanks to all of my friends that help me to be like this hahaha :D :D
Do you think you have become a better teacher?
Yes, I do! Let’s compare with my previous private teaching to my neighbor, unprepared and spontaneous. Something ridiculous happened there when I got nothing to do but I could conduct a two hours course hahahaha. Now, after I got some practice in this class, I could teach in nearly two hours and it was prepared (lower class teaching), since there are so many skills I learn from the micro teaching class I could apply there.
2. Do you help your friends to have the characteristic of good teacher? How do you help them? Or do you think your friends help you to become a better teacher?
Yes, I think so. I help them by trying my best on pretending as a student that they want even though actually I forgot how to be a High School student…and sometimes I discuss their teaching-learning conduct, not only giving them the written opinion, which sometimes couldn’t explain what we wanted to say. And yes, I think all of my friends help me in being a better teacher, I’ll never get the same occasion when my friends can give my critiques and reinforcement which is actually important for developing my teaching skills.
3. Do you help them honestly and sincerely?
I help them honestly and sincerely. Why, because they do the same thing to me. Nothing I got from lying to them about their teaching, the other friends must be telling them about the truth…also they can get it by watching the video.
Do you feel happy/ mad with their comment?
Feeling mad of someone saying your bad side, of course, but feeling happy for someone saying your bad side for the betterment is for sure. Sometimes I felt uneasy with their comments but what can I say, this is just the real thing. Well, without my notice their comments made me improve my way of teaching hahaha, thanks to all comments given, especially the bad one :D
4. What grade do you deserve in this class?
Well, in my opinion all students that have completed their assignments related to this class can get an A mark. The task is including making rpp, practice the teaching, actively participate the teaching-learning conduct, observe their friends in class teaching, making reflection, and the most important one is being a better, developed teacher. For those who has fulfill all of these task deserve an A mark, and I have done all of them, so here I deserve the A mark for task I have done (in my way), and a big development I have made

Today I was in charge of observing my friends’ teaching learning conduct outside the class. Today we got Dimas, Beni, and Nimas. For Dimas, my suggestion is to speak clearer and consider the difficulty level of his material. His performance was good. I like his teaching gesture, I didn’t know wheter it’s well prepared or it’s his nature. Benny’s teaching is interesting, amusing maybe. Atmosphere he brought is fun. It’s good to make your students feel relax and enjoy your class, but please don’t point them with rolled paper. And about Nimas, she was the way too good to her students, I hope she got good students also J. Maybe it’s better to be more serious next time so you can show your authority in front of your students.
The next two days was my D-day of final examination on Micro Teaching clas. Hahaha! Some of my friends told me to be more prepared then previous, they helped me a lot! I also discussed about this day turn with Mila, we share RPP and materials also ask opinion about it. It helped so much! Well, since I don’t have idea about how to teach writing I just gave a too long presentation, in other hand, I really wanted the material well delivered. The effect here was my teaching is overtime, again. Well, even 2 hours still not enough for me.
Mila’s teaching is interesting, well structured, and well prepared as usual. I hope she can maintain her way of teaching by finding some other new interesting way. Her materials were well delivered also. Mas Cahyo’s teaching was funny as usual. He performed very well which seemed that he’s well prepared. It’s good to be interesting like him. And about mas Rahmat’s teaching learing conduct, I didn’t really get what he wanted to teach us, maybe he needs more time to deliver the materials or he better choose another simpler materials which need less time :)

Today we have Sely, Diah, and Yosi. I didn’t know wheter this is coincidence or not but all of those three are talking about fashion…what a girl. Overall their performances are good. I like the topic continuation, seems like we are studying English, the same topic, with three differen teachers. Haha, interesting!

This week we have Riska, Siwi, Pauline, and Rey. Actually mas Cahyo and mas Rahmat also, but they were absent. Riska’s teaching was well prepared, besides preparing the Cadbury gift she also printed the materials in colour. I like her idea in gaining students’ attention, but after the students paying attention to her by respoing her question, her feedback was not so appropriate, but over all her teaching is good and understandable :D
Siwi well prepared as usual, she even discussed her material with some of friends in the previous meeting, I hope I can be as well prepared as Siwi because it helps so much in teaching activity. Pauline doing great also, things haven’t appear from her is expression, I think she is the way too flat when teaching, I think it’s not because she’s nervous, it’s the real her. Maybe she should make a fake smile later on so her students will be more attracted to her. Here Rey looked well prepared too, she discussed her material with friends and she prepared some times before her teaching to ask opinion about her assessment to her friend. I think it’s good to ask people’s opinion about our works, for our betterment :D
