9th Reflection on Micro Teaching

Tuesday: Teachers of the day are Mila, mas Hening, and Anggi. Mila gave a good model of teaching, clear also structured. Anggi did a good job, being relax and also clear in giving the material. Mas Hening was actually doing great too, attractive even though not so clear. But I caught some spontaneous Javanese words; this is not really good as a role model but it’s doing great as a signal of being relaxed (usually happened in the real class). Well, but it’s better to consider if there’s student that don’t understand Javanese language.
Thursday: Today Yosi is having her turn. She taught listening. In my opinion her materials are too difficult for High School students also she was speaking too fast. Well, better to control her speed on speaking because she spoke clear enough.

8th Reflection on Micro Teaching

Today was the chance for Siwi, Tia, and Delis to conduct their teaching learning in the class. I like how Siwi and Delis taught the class that they could make a comfortable atmosphere in class to learn together. They felt friendly and their teaching is fun. In the other hand they seemed laugh too often that made them looks nervous. They are also well prepared. It’s different when it comes to Tia’s turn. I didn’t know why but she looked very tense. She always stick in front of the class and looked for her paper. It must be hard for Tia during her first time; everybody has their own first time. I hope she can be more relaxed in doing the teaching since her material is actually good.

7th Reflection on Micro Teaching

Yeah! This is my time; I’m having my 1st practice teaching on the class. Well, I was overtime since I’m out of my time management… At last I recorded my own voice for today’s teaching learning conduct. I felt confident and have given all the material to the students. The bad thing besides the overtime teaching is the lack of the handout. I forgot to copy as many as the students in the class. So, I spontaneously told them to share with their friends. Lucky me I could thing something like that hahahaha :D :D
Congrats also to Pauline and Nimas that we have done our teaching learning conduct as our plan on the rpp ;D

6th Reflection on Micro Teaching

On this week the class was conducted a pre-test teaching simulation. I don't know why I just keep it easy for the teaching test next week. I missed the Thursday class (again) and I didn't get the re-memorized about RPP. It did affect my RPP test. I felt upset in making it so I asked for my friends' RPP, which their SK-KD was the same with me, and consulted a lot with them. Well, I didn't just copy-paste ing their RPP because for sure it will confuse me in making my RPP. But honestly they help me a lot, thanks to Agung and Angga :D. (Angga actually had different skill to teach but yah, I was quite helped by him :P)

5th Reflection on Micro Teaching

This week I got some examples of my friends' half class teaching. Some of them are happy with their chance, they enjoyed their 15' teaching, but the rest look unprepared and nervous. So, what I learned here is to teach a class you have to really master the materials and have some practices on it. Monologue-ing it is good as a practice, you may find anything else suit on you =)

The observation system worked well in the class. The next teacher could learn from the previous teaching and hopefully not doing same mistakes. I think this is more valuable than only having a theory about how to do your teaching. It helps, yes, but not as much as learning through the observation.

I didn't attend the second meeting of this week because it was rainy, I fallen asleep, no body woke me up, so I had been already late when I woke up, etc (classic reasons XP). It was already 4 p.m. and I hadn't took a bath yet. Then I decided not to attend the second meeting, regretted doing this~~

Just a note part 3

Last week my Sociolinguistic lecturer showed me a film, My Fair Lady. From language used the film must be took time at 1950s. Well, my first thought which arise, is this film have any relation with this song, London Bridge is Falling Down. Well, I thought it was a song at the first time, a song that appeared at an anime film, Kuroshitsuji. Actually I had heard this rhyme in other occasion but it didn't interest me. I just interested with this song after watching the anime :P
Well, I haven't finished watching the film yet, hopes can finish it this week (for making my group overview also) and answer some curiosities xP xP
